Our Story
We are seasoned mining and metals industry professionals who have spent the majority of our careers working for major mining and metals companies. Our mission is to guide metals and mining companies through the challenges of complex capital projects to deliver on the promise to stakeholders including boards, shareholders and communities.
Meet The Team
Cameron McRae
Principal

Cameron has three decades of experience in mining and metals related industries as Chairman, CEO, Project Director and other senior roles. Cameron has led the delivery of successful greenfield and brownfield construction projects on three continents, overarching business transformations, and business improvement projects.

Cameron was CEO-President of Oyu Tolgoi (OT) copper-gold business in Mongolia, CEO of Richards Bay Minerals in South Africa, Managing Director of Murowa Diamonds in Zimbabwe and Project Director for the Hail Creek Coal Mine Expansion Project in Central Queensland.

Cameron led the establishment of the OT business – Mongolia’s world-class megaproject in the Gobi Desert. OT commenced construction in 2010 with the US$6 billion Phase 1 project commissioned ahead of schedule and moved to full production during Cameron’s tenure.

At corporate level Cameron has delivered sectoral and country strategies, global technology projects, and sponsored cross-business unit collaboration projects. Cameron has broad negotiating experience closing M&A deals, key commercial transactions and country level agreements. He was a key member of the M&A team that brought RTZ plc and CRA Limited together to form the dual-listed Rio Tinto.
Andrew McLean

Andrew has two decades of experience in mining and metals holding site and corporate roles on four continents. He has broad experience across the mining value chain including delivering multiple greenfield, brownfield and transformation/operational excellence projects across the full lifecycle.
Andrew has a demonstrated ability to shape strategy, stand-up large programs in dynamic environments and to deliver outcomes at mega-scale. This experience covers aluminium, copper, coal, diamonds, gold, iron ore, uranium, and zinc/lead in both OECD and non-OECD countries.
Andrew was a senior program manager at the greenfield Oyu Tolgoi (OT) project across construction, business readiness, commissioning and ramp-up for five years during the Phase 1 greenfield project. This included providing project leadership and business architecture for the business/operations readiness program. Following commissioning, Andrew led the Integrated Planning and Improvement team to drive operational and business performance to and beyond nameplate capacity. Andrew has also led mining innovation and automation programs for the design, development and operational readiness of an autonomous mining system along with other Industry 4.0 supported transformations.
